Jozef Szajna

    Description:
  • Jozef Szajna was a Polish Catholic survivor of Auschwitz and Buchenwald, and one of the most important theatre director and artist's in Poland whose work dealt with the memory of the Nazi period and the Holocaust. Szanja's theater production "Replika," is a commentary of the horrors of war and what it reduces humanity to. Szajna passed away at the age of 86 in 2008.
